The useit^®-Superfinishing Pad SG2 differs from the useit^®-Superfinishing Pad SG in that its abrasive grain backing consists of a closed fabric and not a fine sanding mesh. Thanks to its more stable surface, the useit^®-Superfinishing-Pad SG2 is also better suited for final filler finishing, for removing color sagging and dust inclusions, for processing and smoothing orange peel for spot repairs, for smoothing transitions, preparing vehicles and grinding stainless steel and NF metals. Like the SG, the useit^®-Superfinishing Pad SG2 is also suitable for wet and dry sanding – and it fits every sanding machine that’s available on the market, regardless of the perforation configuration in the suction plates. If surfaces with a very high amount of dust are to be dry sanded, the useit^®-Superfinishing Pad SG should be used, because the structure of the abrasive surface (the sanding mesh) is open, ensuring that all the dust is continuously extracted through the entire pad.
